A tiny interactive poem with feathers, flute, and flourish.
Welcome to a small visual novel where blue jays bark orders and chickadees mount a rebellion.
Where watercolor wings beat in time with bugle calls, and quiet voices echo.
This micro-visual novel was created for the O2A2 2025 Jam using only:
- One painting (public domain)
- One voice (mine)
- One flute sound (free)
- And a little courage, and several cups of coffee...and a few donuts.
Over the course of three short poems, you’ll meet our feathered narrators.
And if you stay until the end… you’ll build a poem of your own.
I’ll even whisper it back to you.

How to Play
- Download the ZIP file for your system (Windows, Mac, or Linux).
- Unzip the folder to a location of your choice.
- Open the folder and double-click the
.exe(Windows) or the game app (Mac/Linux) to begin. - Let the story unfold...
No installation needed. Just unzip and enjoy.
If your computer warns you about unknown software, don't worry—this is a handmade Ren'Py visual novel and completely safe. You can tell your system to allow it.

I really liked the experience! I've never really slowed down to read poems like this, so it was fun to have almost a guided tour of them. It was really unique to be able to put my own poem together and actually hear you read it also!
